The 7th guest is Dutch photographer Charlotte Dumas. We asked Ms. Dumas, who is currently holding the “Bezoard (stone)” Charlotte Dumas exhibition at Ginza Maison Hermès Forum, about her production style and her thoughts on the exhibition being held during the COVID-19 crisis.

Born in Holland in 1977. For more than 20 years, he has been active as a representative photographer of the Netherlands, creating works on the relationship between animals and humans in modern society. Since 2014, he has been involved in a project to photograph native horses all over Japan, traveling around Hokkaido, Nagano, Miyazaki, and Yonaguni Island. In recent years, he has also worked on video works. Major solo exhibitions include “Yorishiro” (Andriesse Eyck Gallery, Amsterdam/De Pont Museum, Tilburg, 2020), “Anima and The Widest Prairies” (Photographers Gallery, London, 2015), “Paradis Charlotte Dumas” (Foam Museum of Photography, Amsterdam, 2009).
