Ishikawa Glass Co., Ltd. × GATHER × SIRI SIRI limited collaboration product

In conjunction with the event at Okayama GATHER , we will sell a limited number of special collaboration works only this time.

At Ishikawa Glass Kogeisha , which has a workshop in Okayama, in the kiln that continues to melt glass, lumps of glass that have leaked out of the crucible and solidified.
Once a year, it is scraped off when the kiln fire is turned off.
The colors of the glass used were randomly layered, and there was a memory of a year's work.

Originally, it would be discarded, but Mr. Ishikawa imagined that it could be used for something, and used it to create jewelry.
SIRI SIRI designer Okamoto selects a portion of the piece of glass from which craftsmen process it into jewelry parts.
You can enjoy the rough appearance of the glass taken out of the kiln from the uncut piece as an object.

The beauty of randomly hardened glass as it is, and the beauty of carving by human hands in a way that makes use of it.
A gentle horizontal line like the inland sea of the Seto Inland Sea appeared on the completed earring parts.

This project was realized through Masako Nakagawa of GATHER.
You can feel the imagination that exists between people who continue to create.

You can see the real thing at Okayama GATHER on 10/8-9, so please come by.
